Storytelling bridges our collective narratives.

Innovative Digital Media Stories on Climate Change

New Climate Narratives explores the impact of a changing climate on communities and the ecosystems on which we depend.

We seek to go deeper, to explore experiences on the frontlines of the climate crisis that will build and nourish deeper understanding, connection, hope, and possibility as we confront ourselves, our communities, and our societies in the midst of change.

Our Values

Justice

We actively seek to give space to the climate stories that have historically been silenced. We believe these voices are critical and necessary for better understanding our past, healing in our present, and creating a healthy future.

Curiosity

It opens doors. Curiosity allows us to see each other in our humanity and opens us up to new possibilities. When approached with curiosity, we believe good stories offer the opportunity to engage with vital, challenging, and eye-opening questions.

Collaboration

Storytelling is a collaborative process, and so is the climate crisis. If we are to explore this issue with a solutions-oriented mindset, we need to seek out and listen to those on the frontlines.

Respect

We will treat each individual and their stories with dignity.

Creativity

It is creativity that keeps us moving, building, and reflecting. We believe each medium offers a unique angle on the climate crisis. Weaving these together provides a more intricate, complex, and complete story.

Learning

Learning is a commitment to continue deepening and expanding the perspectives presented in this project.
